Steps to Install AX Server and client

Here are the steps to install and configure Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 with SSRS and report deployment.
Hardware Software Requirement

1)      Intel i5 Processor

          Server Software Requirement
1)      Windows Server 2012 (Enterprise ,Standard, Datacenter)
2)      Active Directory Domain
3)      Sql Server 2012 with SSRS , SSAS, Full Text Search (SQL version Enterprise ,Standard ,Business Intelligent Edition)
4)      SharePoint server 2012 or SharePoint Foundation 2013
5)      Microsoft office 2013 or Office 2010
6)      Windows Server Installer 3.1
7)      .Net Framework 3.5
8)      .Net Framework 4.0
9)      Windows installer 3.1 or 4.0
10)  IIS
11)  Visual studio
          Client Software Requirement
1)       Windows 8.1 (Professional , Enterprise)
2)       Windows 7 (Professional ,Enterprise, Ultimate)
3)       Office 2013 ,2010, 2007 with Sp3
4)       Visula studio 2010 with Sp1( Professional , Premium , Ultimate , Team Edition )

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Installation
Steps:-
1)       Run the setup of AX2012

2)       Validate pre requisition depends on requirement

check the required field and enter “Validate”
1)       If we doesn’t installed any software that will be indicated , we can download the pre requisite software by clicking “Link” and configure it by selecting the check box

Then Hit “ Finish” to complete the process
1)       Select the required component to install
Necessary to install for server:
·         Database
·         AOS
·         Client component
·         Debugger
·         Management Utilities

1)       You can kick start the Installation

To install this setup internet is very important, So please confirm before hit install
1)       Choose custom install to select the component you want to install

1)       Select the necessary component for Ax installation
1)       Create a new database for new installation incase if you have database already choose that

/Then select next and complete the installation.

Installation completed


1)       Close all the AX setup and restart the AOS and SQL service
2)       If you are accessing from different user you need to update Sid of that user in DynamicsAXà Tablesàdbo.userinfoàChange Sid in  the particular user field
3)       Check Ax Server Configuration for database configured in AOS
Here you can find the database details and AOS port number
4)       Open AX and click compile in all field , it will take several hours to complete
5)       After compilation you need to synchronize the database
Once completed you can use Ax.


1)       Need to update license file
You can find licensing option in System admin field
Open Step

Install -> Click -> Microsoft Dynamics Ax component
Click -> next
Select “Add or modify components” Click Next

 Select “Help Server” click Next

Configuration Help Server Web Site
Website: Default Web Site
Application pool : DynamicsAx6HelpServer
Virtual directory: DynamicsAx6HelpServer
Physical Directory: C:\intepub\wwwroot\DynaamicsAx6HelpServer

Click Next

Help Server Specify Account Manager

User :  Atnacbe\Administrator      
Password: ******************(Administrator password)
Click Next

Language Content
Select English (India), English (United State)
Click Next
and
Click Install
